Sometime in late 1996, Bob Merrigan Jamie O'Shea, Tim Sheahan Matt Tennis started New Jersey Fairplan. They played their first show on December 13th, 1996. In 1997, Matt parted ways and Ken Worsley joined to play bass. That lineup played lots of shows and toured twice playing their last show on August 29th, 1997 at the Cafe Savoie in Manchester, New Hampshire
